About Us

Castle Hill Radio Control Car Club was started in 1985 – a small track in back of a hobby shop in Castle Hill. A group of people formed a committee and approached Baulkham Hills Council for some land to build a track. It took 12 months and 3 moves before the final resting place in Fred Caterson Reserve. Since then the club has gone through many changes and from a small club with 10 members to one of the biggest clubs in Sydney. We have grown to a membership of 50 strong and are constantly improving our track and facilities. Since 1985 we have held five State Titles – in 1989, 1997, 2001, 2005 and 2009. The track has also changed considerably in that time from a track that had a 20 metre front straight to the existing size of 40 metres.
