When is the track open?
This track is open every day of the week. Please feel free to come down and practice anytime.
When you visit our track facilities, please remember that you are in a public park with neighbours nearby.
Please dispose of your rubbish and obey all traffic rules when entering and leaving.
When do we Race?
Our club meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Registration is open from 9am and racing starts at 10am.
What classes do we run?
We race many classes. All are 1/10th scale and electric powered.
The classes are:
· Novice – run what you have got. The aim is to have fun.
· 2WD Buggy (Stock and Modified)
· 4WD Buggy (Stock and Modified)
· Truck (Stock and Modified)
· Vintage Truck, Buggy, Classic and Plastic Fantastic
(Stock refers to the type of electric motor that can be used. Currently this is 17.5 turn brushless)
(Modified refers to the type of electric motor that can be used. This is open to
any turn brushless motor)
(Vintage Truck refers to trucks pre December 31, 1993. Open motor) List of approved Vintage Trucks HERE.
(Vintage Buggy refers to buggy’s pre December 31, 1991. 2wd and 4wd classes – open and stock) List of approved Vintage buggy’s HERE.
(Vintage Classic refers to buggy’s and trucks from January 1st 1992 through to December 31, 1996. Open motor) List of approved Vintage Classic HERE.
(Vintage Plastic Fantastic refers to any buggy’s and trucks pre December 31, 1988. Stock motor)
Note: Due to the close proximity of houses we are unable to run the gas (Nitro)
powered classes. Noise pollution rules prohibit the running of gas powered cars
within Fred Caterson Reserve.
How Much does it cost to race?
If you’re not a financial AARCMCC member, or not a member of another club…
$13 for 1 class, $6 for second class.
If you are a paid up AARCMCC member, or are a member of another club…
$10 for 1 class, $5 for second class.

Castle Hill Off Road Remote Control Car track is located at the Fred Catterson Reserve (Entry via Gilbert Road off Showground Road, Castle Hill). For directions via Google Maps, please click HERE
