Sunday 15th June club meeting saw 82 entries attending. After all the wet weather experienced of recent times, the drier weather of late gave us a good rack with higher grip levels than the previous race meeting.
2wd Stock
With 26 drivers making this the largest class of the event, drivers of various skill levels battled it out throughout the day.
Nathaniel White qualified fastest for the finals. Logan Rintoul took the win for the day with 1st, 2nd & 1st places across the finals. Anthony Gullotta continued his progress with his transition to offroad, taking second overall with 4th, 1st & 4th places. Nathaniel White was third with 2nd, 4th & 3rd place finishes.

With 16 entries running for the day, a mix of experience, juniors and everything in between made this a class to watch each round.
Lachlan Donnelly took top spot in qualifying and then went on to take a clean sweep with three wins in the finals. The balance of the field had mixed results with Matthew Couper taking second on the day with 2nd, 8th & 2nd places. Ari Bakla was third with 4th, 2nd & 4th place finishes.

With 22 entries running on the day, it would be interesting to see whom mastered the conditions in every run.
Nathaniel White was the top qualifier with clean runs. But it was Logan Rintoul that went on to win the day with 1st, 2nd & 1st places in the finals after A3 was cut short due to rain closing in. Nathaniel White was second with 5th, 1st & 5th place finishes. Cris Milton came in third placing 2nd, 3rd & 6th across the three finals.

15 entries put on a show each run with the fastest vehicles at the event being controlled by some racers of various skill, laying down heaters every run.
Matthew Couper took out the top qualifying spot. And with weather closing in and rain coming down at the race before, the results were called on the best run from the two finals. Matthew Couper took the win for the day with 1st & 3rd place finishes. Lachlan Donnelly took second for the day with 2nd & 1st places. Jarod Ment was third for the day with 4th & 2nd places across the finals.

Novice/Run What You Brung
Only 3 entries in total the Novice and RWYB classes were combined to ensure all entrants got a run on the day.
James White secured top qualifier for the class. And with only two finals being run due to weather, Simon Shaw took the win for the day with two 1st plces. James White came home second with two 2nd places, and Husayn Omar rounding out the podium in third with two 3rd places.

Our next race day is an unscheduled race day on Sunday 29th June. With only 8 weeks until the track will close for an extended period of time to ready the facility for the 2025 IFMAR World Championships, this is a great opportunity to get those extra competitive laps in.
