Team Xray are Strengthening!

Team Xray is still the second most popular chassis of choice of those drivers who are entered for the 2025 Warm-up event and they have an even stronger line up with the international team having committed to now travel to Australia for the Warm-up event.

Leading the team is Martin Bayer from the Czech Republic. The designer of the highly successful XB4 platform and factory team driver, Martin brings a wealth of knowledge from not only driving but the engineering side as well. This has seen him win numerous National and European titles in his time with Xray and surely will continue to.

Travelling for his second time to Australia from the United States, Chase Lemieux is returning to the track he had previous success that saw him podium at the 2024 Australian Championships. Chase has established himself as a fast-paced and consistent racer, earning a reputation as on of the top 10th scale offroad competitors.

Former world champion David Ronnefalk from Sweden is making his first trip to Australia and the Hills Offroad facility. David’s experience of 8 x European and 28 x National Championships will be an asset to the team in getting them up to speed quickly and assist in making them a force to be reckoned with.

The young talent of the group is Bartosz Zalewski from Poland. Whom has already won 17 x Polish and 3 x Junior European Championships in his short 18 years and in this being his first trip to Australia will surely be looking to show why he is a valued member of the team and has lead some of the world’s best in the hobby at past events.

These international guns strengthen the already impressive local team of Ari Bakla, Matthew Couper, Andrew Gillott, Peter Seckold, Ben Cribbin, Gavin Webb, Samuel Muffett, Ayden Young and Caden Hill. All vying for their place in the finals.
