Sunday 2nd March club meeting was Round 2 of the 2025 Hills Offroad RC Club Championship. With 69 entries attending the first race meeting of 2025 on a magnificent day.
Novice/Rung What You Brung
6 entries rolled up for some action with Simon Shaw taking the TQ after qualifying.
With only one final run, Simon Shaw went on to take the win. Jamil Orosa came away with second with Marcos Sewter in third place.

With the largest field for the event, 23 drivers were shown the way with Scott Hill taking TQ for the finals.
Hugo Tsang went on to take the win on the day with 1st, 1st & 2nd place finishes. Scott Hill finished second with 2nd, 2nd & 1st places. Chris Milton put together a third place with 3rd, 11th & 3rd places in the finals.

With 9 very keen entries, it was Matthew Couper laying down TQ runs to start the finals ahead of the rest.
Matthew Couper went on to take the Grand Slam (Win, TQ & Fastest Lap), with three wins across the finals. Ben Cribbin took second place with 3rd, 3rd & 2nd places. Samuel Muffett came in third with 2nd, 4th & 3rd places across the finals.

With 22 entries running on the day, Hugo Tsang put together a TQ run for the best starting place of the stock runners.
Hugo Tsang then went on to take three wins in the finals and take the rounds Grand Slam (Win, TQ & Fastest Lap). Scott Hill came in second with 2nd, 3rd & 2nd place finishes. Chris Milton was third with 4th, 2nd & 3rd places.

Only 9 entries came to play with Matthew Couper taking the TQ spot after qualifying.
The finals were a battle for the minor places as Matthew Couper went on to take his second Grand Slam for the event (Win, TQ & Fastest Lap), with three wins across the finals. Peter Couper took second with 2nd, 2nd & 6th places. Ben Cribbin finished third with 3rd, 4th & 2nd places.

Our next race day was scheduled for Sunday 16th March 2025, to continue our drive towards what will be the biggest year for Hills Offroad RC with the IFMAR World Championships. Post the Pre-Worlds Warm-up Event early April, our next cub day is 20th April 2025.
