29/06/2025 –Hills Offroad RC Club Meeting Race Report

Sunday 29^th June being the fifth weekend of the month enabled us to sneak in another club meeting for the month which saw 81 entries attending.

2wd Stock

With 28 drivers making this the largest class of the event, drivers of various skill levels battled it out throughout the day.

Nathaniel White qualified fastest across the two qualifiers to take TQ for the finals. Nathaniel went on to take the win for the day with 5^th, 1^st & 1^st places across the three finals. Young gun Zac Panic continued his great progress in the hobby with taking second overall with 7^th, 2^nd & 2^nd places. Glenn Welch was third with 1^st, 5^th & 5th place finishes.

With 18 entries running for the day, a mix of experience, juniors and everything in between made this a class to watch each round.

Jarod Ment took top spot in qualifying with TQ for the finals. Jarod continued his qualifying form to go on and win the day with 2^nd, 1^st & 1^st places across the three finals. Lachlan Donnelly finished second with 1^st, 2^nd & 2^nd places. And Ari Bakla was third with 4^th, 3^rd & 3^rd place finishes on the day.

With 20 entries running on the day, it would be interesting to see whom mastered the conditions in every run.

Nathaniel White took his second TQ for the day, way ahead of the competition. Nathaniel again went on to win the day with 4^th, 1^st & 1^st places in the finals. Scotty Elliot ran second with 5^th, 2^nd & 2^nd places across the finals. Another recent convert to dirt was Tony Smith in third placing 1^st, 5^th & 10^th across the three finals.

15 entries put on a show each run with the fastest vehicles at the event being controlled by some racers of various skill, laying down heaters every run.

Lachlan Donnelly took out the top qualifying spot for the finals. Lachlan went on to continue the trend of all TQ runners taking the win on the day with 1^st, 1^st & 2^nd place finishes. Matthew Couper took second for the day with 4^th, 2^nd & 1^st places. Ari Bakla was third for the day with 2^nd, 7^th & 3^rd places across the finals.

Our next race day after this race meeting is Round 4 of the 2025 Club Championship on 6^th July before the recoronation of the ‘King of the Hills’ on the 11^th to 13^th July.
